Mr. Jesse Chou joined Delta Electronics, Inc. in 2004, and currently serves as the chief sustainability officer and spokesperson, responsible for the company's ESG strategy management and stakeholder management. With a comprehensive background in both public relations and ESG, he helps the public fully understand Delta's mission and practices in sustainable operations through two external communications strategies: Delta as “international corporate citizen” and Delta as “green energy pioneer”. From 2009 to 2015, he also served as the secretary of Delta's board of directors, assisting in promoting corporate governance. His achievements as Delta's spokesperson were recognized with the Excellent Spokesperson Award at the 2016 Outstanding Public Relations Awards organized by the Foundation of Public Relations

In 2005, Mr. Chou led an ESG professional team to complete Delta's first ESG report, and in 2015 Delta committed to the international initiative We Mean Business. In 2017, the Company passed the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) review and reached its targets ahead of schedule. Building on the efforts made for the SBTi, Delta took a step further to join the RE100 initiative in 2021 with a commitment to achieving the overall goal of 100% renewable electricity and carbon neutrality by 2030 for all of Delta's global locations. Delta's SBT Net-zero goal also passed the SBTi's review as the first company to do so in Asia's technology hardware and equipment industry.

As a result, Delta has been selected for the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) World for 12 consecutive years since 2011 and achieved the highest overall score in the global electronic equipment industry for 7 years. In 2020 and 2022, Delta was recognized by the CDP with two A List ratings on "climate change" and "water security " issues. Delta has won the top CSR awards held by CommonWealth Magazine and the Global Views Monthly for many years, and it has been recognized with honor rolls.

Mr. Chou received a master's degree from the Institute of Communication Science at National Chiao Tung University. He is currently the vice chairman of the Taipei Neihu Technology Park Development Association and the director of the Center for Corporate Sustainability. Before joining Delta, Mr. Chou served in several prominent companies and organizations including the Industrial Technology Research Institute, Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company. He has also served as a lecturer at Shih Hsin University's Department of Speech Communication. In 2021, he was awarded the Alumni Role Model of Tunghai University.
